同志们: 现在,就今年1～10月份的安全生产情况作一通报。 一、全国安全生产状况 今年以来,各类事故明显上升,特别是一些伤亡人数多、经济损失大、社会影响广的特大事故频繁发生,安全形势异常严峻。 全国道路交通事故居高不下,上半年每月死亡人数比去年同期均增加10％以上,7、8、9月份的事故起数、死亡人数、经济损失又比去年同期有所上升。截止9月底,全国因交通事故死亡的人数已高达45960人,比去年同期增加10％。
Comrades: Let me now give a briefing on the work safety situation in January-October this year. I. Safe Production in the Country Since the beginning of this year, all kinds of accidents have risen markedly. In particular, some major accidents with many casualties, large economic losses and wide social impact have been frequent occurrences, and the security situation is extremely grim. In the first half of the year, the monthly death toll increased by over 10% as compared with the same period of last year. The number of accidents, the death toll and the economic loss in July, August and September increased again compared with the same period of last year. As of the end of September, the number of deaths in the country due to traffic accidents has reached 45,960, an increase of 10% over the same period of last year.
