众所周知,用数学归纳法证明一个与自然数n有关的命题P(n),第一步是验证对于使命题成立的n的第一个值n_0,P(n_0)为真、这个步骤称为归纳奠基。奠基虽不是归纳证明的难点,但奠基时处理不当甚至错误的证法却屡见不鲜。下面通过两个例题的分析来说明奠基时应注意的几个问题。
