Ghrelin能通过生长激素非依赖性机制,刺激食欲、增加体重和诱导肥胖,并参与糖代谢和脂肪代谢,而引起正性能量平衡。Ghrelin通过抑制炎症细胞因子的产生和拮抗心肌重构的作用,以改善心力衰竭恶液质患者的心脏功能,调节能量代谢紊乱。因此,Ghrelin在慢性心力衰竭恶液质患者的能量代谢稳态中,起到重要作用。其逆转和拮抗代谢重构的有益作用,是心力衰竭晚期恶液质治疗的一条新途经。Ghrelin可作为一种监测指标,对病情严重程度和预后进行评估。
Ghrelin causes a positive energy balance by stimulating the appetite, increasing body weight and inducing obesity through growth hormone-independent mechanisms, and participating in sugar metabolism and fat metabolism. Ghrelin regulates the metabolism of energy by inhibiting the production of inflammatory cytokines and antagonizing cardiac remodeling in order to improve cardiac function in patients with cachexia of heart failure. Therefore, Ghrelin plays an important role in the energy metabolism homeostasis in patients with chronic heart failure. Its reversal and antagonism of the beneficial effects of metabolic remodeling, is a new way of treatment of advanced cachexia in patients with heart failure. Ghrelin can be used as a monitoring indicator to assess the severity and prognosis.
