一九八三年，新春佳节刚过，我省三十余名中学教师，离别故乡和亲人，登上特快列车，日夜兼程，奔赴祖国西北边疆克拉玛依。
In 1983, just after the Spring Festival, more than 30 secondary school teachers in our province left hometown and relatives to board the express train and went to Karamay, the northwestern frontier of the motherland, day and night.
