造林密度以及由它发展成的后期密度,在林木整个成长过程中起着巨大作用。林分蓄积量取决于林分内个体的材积和单位面积株数。而单株材积是由它的胸径、树高及形数所决定的,具有一定树高、胸径、形数的个体必然存在于一定的群体结构之中。科学营林的一个重要环节就是寻找和确定林分的适宜密度,因此,制定简便易行的林分密度指标,以便生产中掌握应用,是十分必要的。
Afforestation density and its development from the late density, in the entire growth process of trees plays a huge role. Stand volume depends on the volume of individuals within the stand and the number of strains per unit area. The volume of a single plant is determined by its DBH, tree height and shape. Individuals with certain tree height, DBH and shape must exist in a certain group structure. An important part of scientific management of forests is to find and determine the appropriate density of stand. Therefore, it is necessary to develop simple and easy index of stand density so as to master the application in production.
