孤岛油田局部稠油井曾采用挤稠油降粘剂、泵下掺水等工艺，效果不明显。１９９３年对这部分油井采取地层化学处理、地面掺热水降粘与螺杆泵配套使用的采油工艺等措施，使原来大多数生产不正常的油井恢复正常生产，平均单井日产油量由原来的０．７７ｔ增加到６．２３ｔ，检泵周期由原来６２天延长到３５５天，年累计增产原油２．４７０５×１０４ｔ。
