世界卫生组织成立于1948年4月,我国是创始国之一,1972年5月,该组织通过驱蒋并恢复我国在世界卫生组织合法席位的决议。现有会员国151个,准会员国2个。最高权力机构为世界卫生大会,每年5月举行一次,大会闭会期间的执行机构是执行委员会,执委会每年开会两次。秘书处是日常工作的执行机构,行政领导为总干事。现任总干事为丹麦人马勒(H.MAHLER),副总
The World Health Organization was established in April 1948. China was one of the founding countries. In May 1972, the organization passed a drive to Chiang and restored China’s legal seat in the World Health Organization. There are 151 existing member states and 2 associate members. The highest authority is the World Health Assembly and is held once a year in May. The executive body during the intersessional meeting is the executive committee. The executive committee meets twice a year. The secretariat is the executing agency for day-to-day work and the executive director is the Director-General. The current Director-General is H. MAHLER of Denmark, vice president
