宁夏的地质条件决定了不可能有硬玉、软玉这样的高档玉石产出,但是,中、低档玉石还是有一定前景的。经过地质工作者的持续努力已经发现的玉石资源主要有:贺兰石、竹叶石、朔花石、同心石、米脂玉、碧玉六种。另外尚有石榴子石片麻岩、石英岩、石英片岩等岩石具有成为新型玉石的潜力。目前,宁夏玉石资源,除了贺兰石一枝独秀,形成一定规模的开发利用外,其余几种均未能有效地开发利用。经过在对各玉石矿点的地质特征进行调查和加工工艺性能试验的基础上,对宁夏玉石资源开发利用现状及前景进行了分析。认为石英岩,石榴子石片麻,碧玉岩,石英片岩,同心石最具开发潜力,建议以市场为导向,合理规划玉石用途,加强我区宝玉石资源开发利用。
Ningxia’s geological conditions determine the impossible jade, nephrite such high-grade jade output, however, in the low-grade jade or have some prospects. After the continued efforts of geologists have found jade resources are: Helan stone, bamboo leaves stone, stone flower, concentric stone, rice fat jade, jasper six. In addition there are still garnet gneiss, quartzite, quartz schist and other rocks have the potential to become a new type of jade. At present, Ningxia jade resources, in addition Helan Shi thriving, the formation of a certain scale of development and utilization, the remaining few have failed to effectively develop and use. Based on the investigation of the geological characteristics of each jade ore deposit site and the test of processing technology performance, the current situation and prospect of development and utilization of jade resources in Ningxia are analyzed. It is suggested that quartzite, garnet, flax, jasper, quartzite and concentric stone should have the most potential for development. It is suggested that they should be guided by the market, rationally plan for the use of jade, and enhance the development and utilization of gemstone in our region.
