New Year’s Day is a traditional festival in our country. After the restoration of the Han Dynasty from the Han Dynasty to the 1911 Revolution, the Republic of China was founded with the Gregorian calendar as the standard year and January 1 of the Gregorian calendar as New Year’s Day. However, this change is not always easy. New Year’s Day holiday has undergone a process of gradual infiltration from the upper to the middle level and gradual evolution from political functions to entertainment functions, reflecting the localization of Western calendars in China. At the same time, as a microcosm, it presents the process of the integration of Chinese and Western cultures and the evolution of China from the traditional to the modern in the social changes in China.
