本文简要论述了更新我国旧有地质图的必要性，系统提出了遥感技术在编制我国新一代地 质图中（提高地理底图的现势性，厘定地质单位分类系统，提供地层、构造、岩体信息和常规 方法所不能发现的某些重要的地质体与地质现象）的重要作用，概要介绍了编测新一代地质图 时遥感资料的选定。
This paper briefly discusses the necessity of updating the old geologic map of our country. The system proposes that the remote sensing technology should be applied in the compilation of a new generation of geological map in our country (to improve the current situation of the geographical base map, to determine the geological unit classification system, And some important geological bodies and geological phenomenon that can not be found by conventional methods), the article gives an overview of the selection of remote sensing data when mapping a new generation of geological maps.
