芬兰是世界上泥炭分布最广,储量最大的国家之一,同时,也是研究泥炭和利用泥炭卓有成效的国家,具有领先地位。笔者受中国科学院的派遣,曾于1990年7月至1991年8月在芬兰地质调查所泥炭室从事合作研究,有机会了解芬兰的泥炭研究及利用情况,为使国内从事混炭研究的学者及有关人员对此有所了解,特撰写此文,以飨读者。
