Objective To understand the influence of power frequency electromagnetic field of high voltage transmission line on human health and to study the changes of trace elements in human serum. Methods Three villages with 500kV EHV power transmission and transformation corridor passing through a certain place were selected as survey sites. Taking the vertical distance between vertical lines of 25kV transmission line as the experimental group and 259 people whose horizontal distance was less than or equal to 20m as the experimental group and 148 persons whose horizontal distance was more than 100m as the control group, The levels of calcium, magnesium, copper, iron and zinc in the two groups were detected and compared. Results The indoor electric field and magnetic field strength of the two groups did not exceed the national environmental assessment standards. There was no significant difference in the content of trace elements between the two groups. Conclusion The effects of industrial frequency electromagnetic fields on trace elements in human body are related to exposure intensity, time, distance and individual differences, which needs further study.
