2016年4月8日至10日,全国农垦老年人乒乓球邀请赛在海口市圆满结束。本次邀请赛由海南省农垦老年人体育协会主办,来自全国9个垦区和农业部直属单位的18个男子、12个女子代表队共120名运动员参加了比赛。组委会名誉主席、农业部原常务副部长刘成果宣布邀请赛开幕,并为本次邀请赛题词“享受乒乓,快乐健康”。农业部农垦局、中国农垦经济发展中心发来贺词,希望各垦区认真贯彻落实国家十二部委《关于进一步加强新形势下老年人体育工作的意见》,积极拓展老年人体育工作的新领域、新路子,广泛开展群众性的文体活动,为丰富农垦人的精神文化生活和健康水平、为率先全面建成小康社会做出积极努力。经过3天紧张激烈的比赛,黑龙江农垦一队、农业部农垦联队和海南农垦一队分获女团比赛前三名。海南
