Born in Finland, Eero Saarinen (1910-1961) has been recognized as one of the most influential American architects in the 20th century. The exhibition in Los Angeles “A + D Architecture & Design Museum” aims to show people his short but brilliant career. Examples include two iconic buildings: the unfinished Smithsonian Art Museum (which, if completed, will be Washington DC’s first modern art museum) and Dulles International Airport (the first jet-dedicated aircraft in the United States field). In addition, he designed and built a large number of corporate office buildings, education, culture, public and private buildings, as well as the recognized iconic buildings “St. Louis Arch” and “JFK Terminal 5 Global Airline Flight Center) ”. The exhibition will present to the audience his significant contribution to the California Case Study Dwelling and his profound impact on the design philosophy of the United States in the mid-20th century.
