作者认为McKenzie和Morgan对TTT型三联点运动特征的二维论述是不全面的,因为在他们的论述中忽视了下沉板块之间的相互作用。文中提出一种TTT型三联点的三维存在关系,日本中部的不稳定三联点就可以满足这种关系。然后利用菲律宾海板块和欧亚板块下面的太平洋板块俯冲部分的形状,说明在距今大约3百万年之前的情况与现在是不相同的。3百万年以前的三联点可能位于它现在的位置以北,非常靠近板块相对运动的极点。最后,作者还论述了这一模式在地质方面的意义。
The authors consider that McKenzie and Morgan’s two-dimensional discourse on TTT-type triple point motion characteristics is incomplete because their interaction neglects the interaction of sinking plates. This paper presents a three-dimensional TTT triple point of existence, the central Japan unstable triple point to meet this relationship. Then using the shape of the subducting parts of the Pacific plate beneath the Philippine Sea and Eurasian plates, it shows that what happened about 3 million years ago is not the same as it is now. The triple point 3 million years ago may be located north of its present location, very close to the pole of relative movement of the plate. Finally, the author also discusses the geological significance of this model.
