Contemporary foreign demography based on the methodology of bourgeois sociology includes both the theory of bourgeois population development and certain concepts of opposition to Marxism, but makes use of some of Marxist views. Therefore, the terms “bourgeois demography” and “non-Marxist theoretical demography” can be reasonably and differentially used. The author's aim is to systematize the main theoretical concepts of non-Marxist demography, which sets out his basic position on the study of reproduction and development of the population; reveals and demonstrates the most widely spread non-Marxist flows
