北京地质学院是为了祖国大规模建设的需要,培养具有高度政治觉悟,精通业务,能独立工作,体格健全的地质工程师,在一九五二年秋建立起来的一个专门学院。它是以清华大学、北京大学地质系、天津大学工程地质系的全部师生,唐山铁道学院探矿系地质组的全部教师和一部学生和西北大学地质系的部分学生为基础加以扩充而成的。目前全院有学生一千五百余人,其中一午级学生一千二百人,教
The Beijing Institute of Geology is a specialized institute established in the autumn of 1952 for the purpose of mass building of the motherland and to cultivate a highly political, professional, independent and geologically qualified geotechnical engineer. It is based on Tsinghua University, Peking University Department of Geology, Tianjin University Engineering Geology Department of all teachers and students, Tangshan Railway Institute geological exploration group of all teachers and a student and Northwest University Department of Geology to expand some of the students . At present, there are over 1500 students in the whole hospital, of which 1,200 of them are young ones
