吉林市图书馆系统排头兵选拔赛于1990年9月3日在吉林市图书馆圆满结束。由吉林市政府组织的两年一次的百工种排头兵竞赛已有多年的历史了,但一直没有图书馆系统的项目。近几年,随着图书馆事业的发展,吉林市各系统图书馆的社会地位得到了很大的提高,逐步引起了市委、市政府和社会的重视。因此,今年的全市百工种排头兵竞赛,也首次分配给图书馆行业两个项目。在市政府、市总工会、市义化局的直接领导下,由市中心图书馆委员会、市图书馆学会具体承办。
