素质教育是一种着眼于发展,着力于基础的教育,其根本出发点是提高全民族的整体素质。因此,素质教育必须面向全体学生,培养德、智、体、美、劳全面发展的人才。化学是中学教学中的一门重要的基础学科,掌握一定的化学知识是每个现代公民必须具备的科学素质之一。作为化学教师应利用化学与生活、化学与社会、化学与环境以及化学趣味实验等有利条件,激发学生的学习兴趣,培养他们正确的学习方法,养成良好的学习习惯,产生积极的学习动力,使其成长为具有较高科学素质的人才。
