一、认真研读丰富的史料我国是世界文明古国之一,文化悠久灿烂。自古以来,朝庭里就设有史官,掌管史料记录(最早对地震做出解释的伯阳父就是殷朝的史官)。古代统治阶级和人民虽然出自不同目的,但对自然灾害都十分关心,加以我国地域辽阔,沿海、内地、以及一些边远少数民族地区,都能获得地震资料。所以,我国地震资料在世界上记载最早、最丰富。从远古的尧舜时代就有地震记载的传说。
