甘肃省泾川县义务植树活动从1982年开始,经过多年的努力,目前全县年均参加义务植树人数达到17万人左右,义务植树尽责率达88.5%;建有多种形式的义务植树基地21处,累计植树3600多万株,森林覆盖率达到37.13%,村屯绿化率30.8%,境内2480条沟壑梁峁基本上得到了绿化和治理,已荣获“全国绿化模范县”称号。一、泾川义务植树的主要做法和经验义务植树与建造接力纪念林相结合。组织绿化了泾氵内河川区南北面山,美化了王母宫山等八大景点,建成了生态旅游示范基地和青少年生态环境教育基地。“接力林、青年林、巾帼林、共青林、双拥林”等纪念林基地达到7600亩,社会造林规模明
