[岱字棉16号] 1970和1972年从美国引入。在我国长江、黄河流域棉区多点试种,证明是新引进品种中综合丰产性较好的一个品种。目前已在鄂、豫、晋、鲁、陕等省广泛种植。生育期126—143天。主要特点是出苗快而整齐,长势匀旺,结铃性强,纤维品质好,绒长27—32毫米,纤维强度3.47—4.15克,细度5438—6365米/克,铃重5—6克。
