温家宝总理曾在2009年视察北京某高校时发表讲话说“从国内外的比较看,中国培养的学生往往书本知识掌握得很好,但是实践能力和创新精神还比较缺乏。这应该引起我们的深入思考,也就是说我们在过去相当长的一段时间里比较重视认知教育和应试的教学方法,而相对忽视对学生独立思考和创新能力的培养……我觉得要培养全面发展的优秀人才,必须树立先进的教育理念,敢于冲破传统观念的束缚,在办学体制、教学内容、教育方法、评价方式等方面进行大胆地探索和改革。”其指出了只有创新才能让中国的教育走出瓶颈。
