近几年,天麻发展较快,对蜜环菌的需要量大增。我们调查发现,蜜环菌菌种成品率远远低于其它菌种,一般损失在30～90％。经研究,污染与培养基水分有很大关系。我们试用含水60％的培养基生产蜜环菌,并注意灭菌后的棉塞干爽,结果成品率达95～98％,比含水量70％以上的菌种好得多。另外,采用40％的玉米芯、10％泥沙、2％蔗糖、2％石膏、46％的木屑或种木块作培养基,不仅可以生长蜜环菌,而且蜜环菌的发光亮度也比其它配方的菌种要大。
