(一九九○年四月二十日)亲爱的王韩挪先生:非常感谢您邀请我参加中国锅炉压力容器检验协会的第一次大会,我非常高兴出席这次非常重要的会议。很遗憾,因为公务我不能继续参加会议,我相信您会接受我的歉意,我已经研究了中国锅炉压力容器检验协会章程、宗旨和您对功能的陈述。公众健康和安全,对危险因素的控制和人的生命的保障,环境保护等在世彝范围内受到越来越多的重视,贵协会的宗旨恰恰合乎这种潮流。我代表劳埃德船级社向您的协会表示热烈的祝贺,并祝愿你们取得成功。
(April 20, 1990) Dear Mr. Han Han, Thank you very much for inviting me to attend the first meeting of China Association of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspection. I am very happy to attend this very important meeting. Unfortunately, because of official duties I can not continue to attend the meeting, I believe you will accept my apologies, I have studied the China Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspection Association charter, purpose and your statement of function. Public health and safety, control of risk factors and protection of human life and environmental protection are increasingly valued within the scope of the World Yi. The purpose of your association is exactly in line with this trend. On behalf of Lloyd’s Register, I extend my warm congratulations to your association and wish you all success.
