The 20th century is an extraordinary one hundred years. It is therefore extraordinary because of the emergence of three scientific and technological achievements that have attracted the attention of all mankind. These three achievements are the establishment of Einstein’s theory of relativity, the invention of the computer and the discovery of the DNA double helix structure model. They will also serve as the cornerstone for the further development of the human scientific civilization in the new century. In the one hundred years of the 20th century, the Chinese nation, with its extraordinary courage, warm blood and strong emotions, was on 9.6 million square kilometers of soil.
