With the advent of the information age and the popularization of smart phones, the traditional English classroom teaching has been greatly impacted and challenged and also faced with tremendous opportunities. This point is particularly prominent in English teaching in higher vocational colleges. In this situation, it is imperative to carry out the reform in higher vocational English teaching. This article will be based on the author more than a decade of teaching experience, and extensive reference to other party information on the basis of this discussion.
