随着我国幼教事业的发展,幼儿园对男性幼儿教师需求在不断的增加。但目前男性幼儿教师职业发展还存在幼儿师范专业男生生源缺乏,男性幼儿教师比例较少,对幼儿教育工作不感兴趣、流失严重等困境;造成这种困境的原因:一是社会传统性别角色观念的影响,二是对男性幼儿教师的培养力度不够,三是男性幼儿教师待遇低下;为男性幼儿教师职业发展创造良好的舆论环境、提高经济待遇,完善师资培养机制、拓宽职业发展空间,提高男性幼儿教师自身素质是突破困境的关键。
