2012年2月13日,纳威司达公司在北京举办了以“新动力,跃龙年”为主题的媒体见面会。纳威司达(中国)产品及技术研发副总裁严敬德博士介绍了公司的产品研发技术及策略、欧洲和美国排放标准的差异,纳威司达动力总成产品研发中心技术院士雷宁女士介绍了美国的“超级卡车”计划。这场演讲除了让记者感受到美国卡车企业的先进产品理念外,还从一个侧面提醒我们:卡车技术与国家安全息息相关,无论是政府机构、科学家、制造企业还是媒体,都应该从这个高度上去关注中国卡车的发展。
On February 13, 2012, Navistar Company held a media meeting in Beijing on the theme of “New Power, Yuelong Year”. Dr. Yan Jingde, vice president of product and technology research and development, Navistar (China), introduced the company’s product development technologies and strategies, differences in emission standards between Europe and the United States, and Ms. Rening, a technical fellow of the product research and development center of Navistar Powertrain, introduced America’s “Super Truck” program. In addition to letting journalists feel the advanced product ideas of American truck companies, this speech also reminds us from one aspect: Truck technology is closely linked with national security. Whether it be a government agency, a scientist, a manufacturing enterprise or a media, we should pay attention from this height China’s truck development.
