原阳段自一九五○年就着手摸索锥探工作,每年都发现了不少隐患。一九五二年以前发现的洞穴,不论深度、大小、土质,一律开挖填实,所以浪费了很多人力、财力。一九五三年原阳堤线上进行了277万眼的普遍密锥,共计发现4663个眼洞。由于挖填任务很大,为了节约人力、物力,我们接受了以往挖填的经验,试用不同的方法挖填不同的隐患,首先了解洞穴的形状,大小等情况。在锥探出隐患以后,先插标作记,事后再找技术比较
