汽车起重机的底盘(有时也称车架)起着运载上车的作用。我国生产的汽车起重机的底盘有专用、通用两种。QY8型汽车起重机多采用东风牌载重汽车的底盘。比起专用底盘来,这种通用底盘节省钢材、缩短生产时间、降低成本,而且容易形成标准化;同时可使QY8型汽车起重机和其他载重机动车辆编组运行,提高了劳动生产率。
