2009年6月21日,发生在福建省南平市的医患冲突事件震惊了全国,也促成了一些改善医患关系的制度的建立。但是,有关专家指出:“施行第三方调解和理赔等制度可能会暂时缓解医患矛盾,但不能认为仅靠这些就可以万事大吉。只有加快速度、加大力度对医疗领域进行投入,解决供需矛盾,最终才能根本改变医患之间的对立。这或许还需要很长的时间,不可能一蹴而就。”
