自80年代至90年代初,随着世界科技的发展,职业妇女的增加及社会革新潮流的推动与挑战。幼儿教育有了较大的发展。我国幼儿教育也得到了迅速发展。据统计,3～6岁在园幼儿人数已由1981年的1054万增长到1992年的2428万,在教育质量上也取得不少新成果。综合国际、国内幼儿教育的发展,尤其值得注意的,是教育观念上的明显进步。
