陕西省大荔县妇幼保健院于1987年4月、11月,受西安医科大学的技术指导,由保健科负责按照全国协作组的统一要求、方法及标准,对不同地理环境,不同生活条件的高明、石槽乡38个试点村,2068名0～3岁儿童进行了春、秋季佝偻流行病学调查。共拍片2019份,查出佝偻病患儿974人,患病率为春季51.58％,秋季44.80％。其中0～1岁婴儿657人,患病率为春季73.27％,秋季65.74％。
