在科学技术日新月异的今天,图书种类层出不穷,发展迅速,这就要求图书馆典藏员要有丰富的经验、渊博的知识及较强的处理事物的能力,才能将图书有序的分配到合理的地方,方便读者查阅。只有这样,才能使图书馆的资源被合理利用,为读者发挥更大的方便,发挥藏书的最大作用。本文就典藏工作在图书馆管理中的作用做出分析、进而提出提升典藏工作的有效手段。
