2004-2005赛季全国女篮甲级联赛于2004年11月12日在全国12个省市开战,百余名女篮姑娘们粉墨登场,在激烈的赛场上挥洒着汗水。不过,人们关注最多的还是国家女篮的队员们,因为她们不仅是各队的领军人物,还代表着国家女篮的水准。正如人们所预料的那样,开赛以后这些队员们的各项技术统计大多排在联赛前20名之内,但她们的表现也非尽善尽美,一些球员在个别技术上的缺陷,和在个别场次上的低迷,让人揪心。她们状态的好坏,是否发挥,不仅直接影响球队的战绩,也左右着WCBA联赛的格局和走向。这也成为这些球员的郁闷所在。
