In 2001, Wuhan Federation of Trade Unions vigorously launched a mass economic and technological innovation project with the main content of “innovation performance and high efficiency” competition in the city and achieved fruitful results. According to statistics, a total of 256,400 reasonable suggestions were made by employees in the city, creating a value of 296 million yuan and carrying out 2,108 technological innovations with a total economic benefit of 497 million yuan.
