利用光波导的大传输容量可以建立一个光宽带网,它允许在用户线传输现有的和可以设想的所有通信业务的信号。起初,用户线一般由二路光波导组成;改进技术后,利用波分复用技术,很多业务可在一根光纤中进行双向传输。本文将介绍联邦德国邮局(DBP)在1983年投入使用的第一个宽带用户网的系统结构及传输组件,该系统由西门子公司设计。
The use of a large optical waveguide transmission capacity allows for the establishment of an optical broadband network that allows transmission of signals over existing and conceivable communications services on subscriber lines. Initially, subscriber lines are generally composed of two-way optical waveguides; improved technology, the use of wavelength-division multiplexing, many of the business in a fiber for bidirectional transmission. This article describes the system architecture and transmission components of the first broadband subscriber network put into operation by the Federal German Post Office (DBP) in 1983, which was designed by Siemens AG.
