去年暑期,我校在调查参加农业生产的历届毕业生的情况时,不少干部、家长都反映:孩子们对珠算只会不熟,不能派实际用场。许多毕业生自已也反映:珠算不熟,吃亏不小。面对这一情况,我们对珠算数学进行了研究。大家一致认为:单靠每周一、二节珠算课,要培养学生熟练的珠算技能是很困难的。为了使学生有经常反复练习珠算的机会,而不增加他们的学习负担,可以把笔算与珠算有机地给合起来进行练习。这样,对珠算和笔算能力的提高都有好处。秋季开学后,我们就在个别班级作这样的尝试,上学期在各班试行,都收到了较好的效果。过去,每周只有一、二节珠算课,学生练习的机会少,难以形成熟练的珠算技能,而且往往有返生现象。把笔算与珠算有机地给合起来练习,珠算练习的机会就增多了,可以提高珠算的速度和正确率。我们在去年
