甘肃景泰、靖远地区三迭纪地层,早经路兆洽、陈梦雄(一九四八)报道,认为与甘肃西部的下、中三迭统西大沟群相当。解放后,本区三迭纪地层的研究有一定进展,斯行健(一九五一、一九五六)、徐仁(一九五七)、南京地质古生物研究所及甘肃省地质局区测队等,均在本区采到一些重要植物化石,从化石面貌、岩性特征等分析,认为可与陕北延长群对比,时代属晚三迭世。 Triassic strata in Jingtai and Jingyuan areas of Gansu, as reported earlier by Zhao Zhao and Chen Menxiong (1948), are believed to be comparable to the Lower Triassic Xidagu Group in western Gansu. After the liberation, some progress has been made in the study of the Triassic strata in this area. Among them, Sri Lanka (1951, 1956), Xu Ren (1957), Nanjing Institute of Geology and Palaeontology, and Geological Bureau of Gansu Province Etc., all collected some important plant fossils in this area. According to the analysis of fossil features and lithological characteristics, it can be compared with the Yanchang Group in Northern Shaanxi Province. The time belongs to Late Triassic.
