Constructive and constructive validity 2.1 Constructs To understand what constructs Validity, we must first understand what is the construct (construct). From a psychological point of view, constructs refer to a trait, level, ability, or skill that exists in the human mind (Brown, 2000: 9). Constructivism is a competency in education and measurement (Wiley, 2002), referring to successful completion
