为了探索治疗肝硬化食管静脉曲张破裂出血这一危及生命疾病的特效药物，我们对7例使用善得定治疗的患者从止血、输血量、超声检查、副作用等方面同垂体后叶素治疗的患者进行对比分析。结果治疗组优于对照组。门静脉、脾静脉均变窄，标志着门静脉压力降低。虽然因例数少而无统计学意义，但临床上表现出止血效果显著。善得定有选择性降低门静脉压力的作用、副作用少，是治疗肝硬化食管静脉曲张破裂出血的最佳药物之一。希望国内制药业尽快研制生产以便临床推广使用。
