历史学科在学生的思想道德素质教育上有着先天的优势,按照新教学大纲的要求,初中历史教学要把德育教育放在首位。随着新课程改革的深入推进,历史教师要明确德育在中学历史教学中的地位和作用,加强学习,提高素质,充分发掘校内外的课程资源,精心设计课堂,选择有效的德育教育方法,促进学生的全面发展,使中学历史在社会主义精神文明建设中发挥出积极的作用。
