高师音乐教育在整个学校音乐教育体系中起着承担培养各级各类学校音乐教育师资的重要神圣职责,它的成败直接关系到素质教育能否顺利的进行。在学校教育中,课程设置结构如何,直接关系到能否培养出既全面发展,又层次不同、类别不同、规格不同的人才,来适应和促进经济和社会发展。如果课程结构不合理,必然使既定的教育目标不能完美地实现,从而不能完成知识传授、能力培养和品德陶冶的任务,不能促进受教育者身心的全面发展,从根本上偏离经济和社会发展的需要与可能。因此,对高师音乐教育课程设置的探讨就显得尤为重要。
