扫除文盲是一项艰苦的社会工程。必须在政府的领导下、广大人民齐心努力,才能完成历史赋予我们的光荣任务。1990年以来,我镇在各级政府的领导和各职能部门的协作下,认真贯彻国务院《扫除文盲工作条例》和上级有磁文件精神,本着“一堵、二扫,三提高”的扫盲方针,扫除了青壮年剩余文盲61人,使非盲率达到99.89%,脱盲学员巩固率达到100%,适龄儿童入学率、巩固率分别为100%和99.9%,小学毕业率99.9%,现已基本堵住新文盲
