Don Hewitt, a veteran CBS reporter, is the founder and longtime producer of “60 Minutes,” the number one television news magazine in the world. He said the formula for “60-minute success” is as simple as a few words. All children in the world know it - “Tell me a Story” (tell me a story)! Later, Tell me a Story became the book of Hewitt’s 50-year memoir of “60 Minutes.” The memoir says that the true story of “60 Minutes” producers and journalists is as appealing as TV shows and movies; so every Monday morning there will be a Hollywood producer calling, hoping that according to the day before I saw the story of the protagonist in the show shooting a movie.
