Insulinomas are pancreatic endocrine tumors, which are far less common than pancreatic exocrine tumors. The incidence rate is lower than 1/10 million*1+. In order to investigate the role and value of spiral CT in the detection of insulinoma, retrospective analysis was performed on patients with insulinoma who underwent CT examination and surgical resection in our hospital from February 1997 to May 2000.
