红锥是我区重要珍贵阔叶树种之一。目前种源缺乏,结实的大小年极明显,种子成熟时易受鼠、鸟、虫为害,加之种子易丧失发芽力,严重影响这一树种的发展。我们从1981年12月至1984年8月进行了红椎种子贮藏试验,现已初步找到了延长红锥种子生活力的贮藏方法。一、试验材料和方法供试种子来源于浦北县林业局。试验前将种子用清水浸泡半小时,除去空粒及直径小于1厘米的种子,取出好种子晒干。然后测定种子含水量、脂肪和发芽力。种子采用三种贮藏方法:种子混干沙装入瓦缸内,用塑料薄膜密封(1);种子混干沙装入瓦缸内(2);种子放瓦缸内或布袋内(3)。每处理四个重复,每重复2公斤种子。以上各处理分别放入冷库(0-8℃) 和室内各
Red cone is one of the important precious broad-leaved species in our district. At present, there is a lack of provenances, and the size of the seedlings is extremely obvious. When the seeds mature, they are susceptible to rats, birds and insects, and the seeds are easily lost to germination and seriously affect the development of this tree species. We have conducted the red vertebral seed storage test from December 1981 to August 1984, and have initially found a storage method to prolong the life of red cone seed.
