An experimental investigation of the positioning performance of a multi-filament chamber operating in self-quenching streamer (SQS) mode was performed. Two different cell structures were used to investigate the distribution of the induced charge signals on the electrodes around the anode wire under the different CO 2 content and pressure with a mixed gas of Ar and CO 2 as the working gas.
