China Technology Import Corporation recently ordered DEC China Limited for computer equipment valued at more than $ 10 million to improve China’s education and research facilities. The contract specifies the installation of 13 VAX8300 and 129 MicroVAX II systems at universities in 57 major provinces and cities in China and provides the necessary software and home training. It is estimated that over 200,000 university students enrolled in science, engineering, management and social sciences will enjoy this new device.
